TIPS
- If you already own a Sheesh skirt, use this as a reference for your size and length preference. Measure your existing skirt length at the side seam without including the stretchy band. Make sure you measure when you are not wearing the skirt. Lay it flat in front of you.
- Consider where you are positioning your skirt when selecting your size and length. Consider your body type: Curvy, Straight or Hourglass. Refer to the photos and tables provided to clarify your requirements.
- If you are after a firmer fit, consider ordering a skirt 5 cm longer. Otherwise the final length can appear shorter on you.
- If you have any questions on how to fit your skirt, please feel free to call me on 0425 639 989 to discuss so we can work out the best option for you
FIT TO YOUR BODY TYPE
CURVY | If your measurement is on the cusp of the size range: Size down: Result – skirt may ride up to your narrowest point at the waist. Consider choosing a slightly longer length. Size up: Result – skirt may sit lower on the hips but more likely to rest easily and stay in place |
STRAIGHT | The band seam should position just below your stomach. If your measurement is on the cusp of the size range: Size down: Result – slimmer fit for your shape. Band seam may be a firmer fit Size up: Result – fuller looking skirt. Band seam will be a looser fit Extra weight around tummy – band will accommodate this. |
HOURGLASS. | Skirt will position higher on body. Ensure you select a longer length. Band options: -Fold down -Wear a belt to emphasize narrow waist -Allow band to sit high on torso. |
PREGNANT | Skirt needs to position low on hips with band seam clearing well below changing belly. Stretchy band will accommodate as you grow. Size up: Usually best to go up one size higher than usual. Only go up 2 sizes if you have a history of fluid retention or of gaining extra weight in places other than your tummy during pregnancy. |
